OUR CODE COMMITMENTS

Regis Licensing Pty Ltd is a subscriber to the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice.

The Code sets the standards that insurance brokers promise to meet when dealing with clients. It goes beyond what the law requires. By subscribing, we commit to:

• act honestly, fairly and with integrity, and in our clients' best interests
• be clear about the services we provide, what we charge, and how we are paid
• identify and manage conflicts of interest
• support clients experiencing vulnerability, and treat them with sensitivity, dignity, respect and compassion
• handle complaints fairly, promptly and transparently
• train our people to meet these standards

Compliance with the Code is monitored independently by the Insurance Brokers Code Compliance Committee (IBCCC). If you believe we have not met our Code obligations, you can tell us using our complaints process, or report it directly to the IBCCC at www.insurancebrokerscode.com.au or on 1800 931 678.

Separately, where Regis Licensing provides claims handling and settling services, those services are delivered in line with the standards in the General Insurance Code of Practice and with ASIC Regulatory Guide 271 (Internal dispute resolution).

The General Insurance Code of Practice is a different code from the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice. It sets standards for insurers and those acting on their behalf, including in the handling of claims. You can read it at www.insurancecouncil.com.au.
